When the field is above one acre, these Raingun Irrigation system is best choice. This System requires high pressure and high water discharge pump for its good performance. The water droplet size changes according to its water pressure.

In India commonly available Penquin Raingun is most popular. It covers ⅓ of One Acre land from single point, Using 5HP high pressure pump we can run two points which can cover ⅔ of the land in one hour about 4 inch water drench in soil(It varies soil, Climate and Crop Age). So the number of points to be built in land is reduced compare to sprinkler. This is suitable for crops growing 10 Feet height where sprinkler is not suitable.

Permanent Raingun System :

In this system Cement Pillar with Raingun Connector are built between 60 to 70 Feet Gap and Connected with Sub Pipeline with Valve controls. Here Rainguns can be detached and attached where to be irrigated and rest of all pipes are shut down using valve controls. Here Rainguns weigh about 1.5 Kg are only used for this detachable system.

Detachable Raingun System :

In this system Instead of Building Permanent Cement Pillar Rainguns are placed on top of Temporary Portable Steel Stand and Connect to the Pump Via HDPE hose. Here the entire Stand is moved to the irrigated land.
